It has a built-in database and all the tools required to run your toy library. libratu Online is an optional fee-paying service which integrates with libratu to automatically generate a interactive website for your toy library. |

| Question: | What sort of computer do I need to run libratu? |

| Answer: | libratu will run on any computer which support Java 1.6. There is a setup file for Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Linux and Mac users can download the Java files and run them directly. |

| Answer: | Yes. libratu will print bar codes on membership cards and toy labels and these can be scanned when issuing toys to populate the member and toy fields. |

| Answer: | No. libratu does not require an internet connection to run. However it is advisable to connect libratu to the internet occasionally to check for updates.
If you are registered for libratu Online then you do need to connect to the internet at the start and end of every toy library session to update the libratu Online website. If you don't have an internet connection available at your toy library you can now do these updates at home and transfer the data on a disk or portable memory stick. |
